Does our 1st answer always have to be our best answer? Why are the interviews needed? How many interviews are needed? When do we start working on our independent components? Are only 10 hours of mentorship needed for the whole year or do we later have to make more?
3. What has the most important part of the senior project based on what you are seeing in the 2-hour presentations?
The most important part of the senior project based on what I was seeing during the presentations was that you really have to choose a topic you enjoy talking about because your presenting on that one topic for a long time. Watching these presentations taught me that I need to know a lot about my topic because I can easily bore the audience.
4. What topic are you considering doing and why?
The topic I'm considering doing is Optometry because my uncle, that i am very close to, can be my mentor. He's an optometrist. He's always doing tests on me and I've found it quite interesting on how the eye works. My uncle has let me practice on him and I think it would be a fun topic to talk and learn more about.
5. What are you doing for your summer mentorship?
I'm planning on working with my uncle for my summer mentorship. He's an optometrist. I've seen from the presentations that your mentor is involved in your senior project a lot and that wouldn't be a problem for my uncle and I because he lives down the street from me. It would be easy to communicate with him and call him for anything I need help with.
